MOUNT VICTORY — Ridgemont will be able to keep an eye on what’s happening inside and outside school buses beginning in January. The school board, at its meeting Thursday night, approved a video surveillance system for all school buses from Pro-Vision for $18,986.

A Lima man was sent to prison for a total of 34 months after he was convicted of felony charges in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

DOLA — The residents of Hardin Northern School District will have the opportunity to walk the hallways of the school for recreational purpose on Sunday evenings. The board approved the open time at its meeting on Wednesday.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education recognized outgoing board member Cheryl France during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Dec. 14. France, who has represented Ridgemont Local Schools on the Hi-Point Board for five years, attended her final meeting Tuesday and noted how much she has enjoyed serving.

Landan B. Conkle, Findlay, was northbound on Ohio 235 near TR 110, when a deer entered the road from the east and was struck. The vehicle suffered minor damage.

An officer responded to the 200 block of Letson Avenue for a report of threats.

The United Way of Hardin County campaign is at $203,355.55 which is 93 percent of its $220,000 goal, according to a report from the organization on Wednesday.
