MARION — The canine comedy show, Mutts Gone Nuts!, will take the Marion Palace stage on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. Nine amazing canines, whose talents range from hoop jumping, dancing, and catching Frisbees to rope jumping, tight-wire walking and more, unleash havoc and hilarity in an action-packed show.

COLUMBUS – Hunters checked 15,843 white-tailed deer during Ohio’s muzzleloader season, Jan. 7-10, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). During last year’s muzzleloader season, 12,503 white-tailed deer were checked.

RIDGEWAY — Strong winds raged across parts of Hardin and Logan counties Tuesday evening. Larry Mouser was preparing for bed when he heard the wind pick up in intensity at his home south of Ridgeway about 9:20 p.m.

Officers responded to 404 N. Glendale St. for a report of a possible overdose. Two doses of Naloxone were administered to the suspect.

An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Smith Avenue for the possible theft of tires. It was reported that a white male was observed standing up behind a white car parked across the street and then running south.
