An Ada youth who has a record of violence, crime and drug abuse as a juvenile will begin his adult life in prison. According to court records available through Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Kacey Lee Rimes, 305 S. Simon St., Ada, was found guilty in Hardin County Common Pleas Court of one count each of burglary, grand theft with a firearm specification and safecracking.

FOREST — New games and experiences and some long-time favorites will be featured at the Tree Town Festival, which will run Friday through Sunday at Gormley Park in Forest. The Hardin County Crime Task Force seized 115 hits of heroin and made two arrests on Friday in Kenton as the result of a drug investigation. Colby Rogers, 120 Brumm St., Kenton and Amanda Williams, also of Kenton, were taken into custody.
