A Kenton man was sent to prison for more than five years after pleading guilty to felony charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

LIMA — County music artist Chase Bryant will be this year’s headlining performer for the annual St. Jude “Partners in Hope” Concert sponsored by 92.1 The Frog. The concert will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 14 at the Lima Civic Center.

COLUMBUS – Hunters checked 15,843 white-tailed deer during Ohio’s muzzleloader season, Jan. 7-10, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR). During last year’s muzzleloader season, 12,503 white-tailed deer were checked.

DOLA — When the Hardin Northern Board of Education purchased 10 acres of neighboring land last year, it had plans of developing it into a sports complex, a bus garage and parking.

RIDGEWAY — Strong winds raged across parts of Hardin and Logan counties Tuesday evening. Larry Mouser was preparing for bed when he heard the wind pick up in intensity at his home south of Ridgeway about 9:20 p.m.

MOUNT VICTORY — Dave Copp was elected president and Jerry Turner was selected as vice president of the Ridgemont Board of Education at its reorganizational meeting Tuesday night.
