ADA — Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present Peter Gros of “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” for two shows on Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

ADA — Ohio Northern University and the Department of Music present “African Music Celebration,” an evening of African drumming and dance led by Benjamin Obido Ayettey, professor and Fulbright visiting scholar, in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

LIMA — Get a rambunctious start to your weekend, and join an all-percussion ensemble from Ohio Northern University for KidStuff, presented free at the Lima Public Library, Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m.

DOLA — Awakened Commotion, Hardin Northern High School's pop a cappella singing group, has once again been chosen as a finalist to compete for cash prizes in the Ohio Has Talent competition.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents the Ohio Northern Symphony performing “Beethoven and Beyond” in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m.

MARION — “Charlotte’s Web” will come alive on the Marion Palace Theatre stage Feb. 19-21. Featuring a cast of 29 local youth, it is the theatre’s first junior stage play.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents the ONU Wind Orchestra on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. The ONU Wind Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Thomas A. Hunt, presents a program of music for winds and percussion, including James Barnes’ Third Symphony, David Maslanka’s “Mother Earth,” and Rolf Rudin’s “Aufbruch.”
