Train Show and Swap Meet set Saturday in Bucyrus

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Model Railroad Association is sponsoring its 30th annual Train Show and Swap Meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Youth Building in Crawford County Fairground in Bucyrus. It will be an all gauge show with Railaoma, models, model supplies, scenery, books, movies and items that will enhance this hobby.

Country singer Chase Bryant to perform at fair

Rising young country music singer Chase Bryant will be the Saturday night grandstand entertainment at this year’s Hardin County Fair. Bryant, 23, from Orange Grove, Texas, has had two top 10 singles. The first was his debut single, “Take It On Back,” in early 2015. He has been in the top 10 as well with his current single, “Little Bit of You.”

The Hardin County Players will present a humorous and emotional interpretation of the play, “Love, Loss, and What I Wore” as a dinner theater April 8-10 at the Kenton Elks. An adult content play, it features monologues and ensemble pieces “about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects: mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black,” according to a release from the Players.
