FINDLAY – The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts will welcome Get the Led Out on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out (GTLO) has captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Marching Band will present a concert featuring its music from the 2017 season at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Called “The Star of Northwest Ohio,” the ONU band will perform a variety of iconic music from its premiere show, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present “Pursuits of Passion” on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, Lima. Yaoyue Huang, guest artist, will play Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.23, a charming and familiar work that will demonstrate her refined musical style and artistry.

ADA — The 40th annual Ada Music Feast Show Choir Invitational Competition is set for Saturday, Nov. 4 at Ada High School. This year’s program will feature talented young men and women from eight visiting show choirs from Ohio, and Indiana.

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will host a fall choral concert featuring the University Chorale and Camerata Singers at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22 in Yoder Recital Hall. Feast your ears on the sounds of Palestrina, Handel, Debussy and Duruflé as Natalie Mallis, visiting assistant professor of music, will conduct the concert in collaboration with university accompanists Ana Yoder Coulter and Benjamin Crook.

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will present “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller this fall. Dr. Melissa Friesen, a professor and chair of art, communication and theatre at Bluffton, will direct the show, being staged at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 2-4 and 2:30 p.m., Nov. 5 in Ramseyer Auditorium in College Hall.

ADA – The ONU Symphony will perform works by Austrian and German composers at 4 p.m. on Oct. 15 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at Ohio Northern University. ONU Music Director Travis Jürgens will conduct this opening concert, which features works by Austrian and German composers, including Wagner’s “Overture to Rienzi.”

MARION — Auditions for “Christmas at the Palace 2017-Winter Wonderland” will be held Sunday, Oct. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Marion Palace Theatre main stage. All acts and ages will be considered for this family-friendly holiday show.

ADA – The ONU Wind Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Ohio Northern University in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Thomas Hunt, professor of music, will conduct this opening concert.

MARION — The comedy musical “The Drowsy Chaperone”will be presented next month at the Marion Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion. Show times are Friday, Nov. 3 amd Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
