It’s easy to love the March sisters, especially when played by four such talented young actresses. Junior Lindsey Beverly as the outspoken Jo, senior Ellie Miller as quiet and loving Beth, senior Danielle Dunne as prim and proper Meg, and junior Annabelle Humphries as the childish Amy portray the four sisters who together learn to endure both good times and bad as they share the joys and pains of growing up.
FINDLAY — Neos Dance Theatre will present “A 1940s Nutcracker” on Sunday, Dec. 3 at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay. There will be shows at 2 and 7 p.m. By blending classic elements of The Nutcracker story with Hancock County history, the ballet offers a tale of Christmas Eve magic that heralds the holidays.
UPPER SANDUSKY — “Jazz in the Fall” choral concert at Upper Sandusky High School is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. The jazz choir Upper Class will be performing along with guest groups, Hardin Northern’s Awakened Commotion and Tiffin University’s Up in the Air.
Kenton High School will stage the musical, “Little Women” this weekend at the Kenton Middle School auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
ADA – A holiday tradition continues with upcoming performances of Ohio Northern University’s 23rd annual ONU Holiday Spectacular musical extravaganza. The show will be presented in ONU’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, Nov. 17 and Nov.18, with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Nov. 18.
BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will host a Thursdays at Yoder concert featuring music faculty members Dr. Andrew Liebermann and Stephanie Titus at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 in Yoder Recital Hall.
DOLA — Hardin Northern High School is preparing a murder mystery dinner theater, Murder at the Tonylou Awards.
COLUMBUS — Performer Johnny Steiner will release his latest recording – a seven track recording of seasonal selections called City Sidewalks – on Saturday, Nov. 4.
ADA — The Parker Presents jazz group will perform at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31 in the Presser Hall recital hall at Ohio Northern University. The event is free and open to the public.
