MARION — Margaret Bowman directs a Marion Palace production of the comedy, murder-mystery, “You Have the Right to Remain Dead” on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 in the Palace Theatre May Pavilion. Seating is limited and expected to sell out.

ADA – The Ohio Northern University Symphonic Band, the “Northern Winds,” will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on March 19 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at ONU. The multicultural program, titled “Around The World With The Winds,” will feature music from the United States, England, Africa, Australia, China, Korea, Mexico and the Middle East.

ADA – The Ohio Northern University Music Department will present a faculty voice recital at 2 p.m. on March 18 in the Presser Hall recital hall at ONU. The event is free and open to the public.

FINDLAY — “Jazz – Where You Least Expect It!” will be the theme for this spring’s University of Findlay Jazz Ensemble concert. Scheduled for Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m. in Winebrenner Theological Seminary’s TLB Auditorium, the event will be free and open to the public, but tickets will be required through the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts’ box office at marathoncenterarts.org or by calling 419-423-2787.

MARION — The Marion Palace Theatre will host an Open Mic Nite in the theatre’s May Pavilion on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. It is open to performers of all ages and a variety of talents from musicians, dancers, and singers to magicians, comedians, and poets.

FINDLAY — Singer Jonatha Brooke will perform at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Live@Armes series, presented by Blanchard Valley Health System. This series of special concerts, all set in the intimate, relaxed atmosphere of the Roy and Marcia Armes Hall, will feature Brooke, first as half of the folk-pop duo The Story and later as a solo artist.

BLUFFTON — Bluffton University will host “March Madrigal Madness,” a concert featuring the University Chorale and Camerata Singers at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18 in Yoder Recital Hall.

FINDLAY — The Pirates of Penzance is coming to Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, 200 W. Main Cross St., at 7:30 p.m. March 16. This New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players production feaures a band of swashbuckling buccaneers, bumbling British Bobbies, frolicsome Victorian maidens, and the delightfully dotty “model of a modern Major-General” for a rollicking romp over the rocky coast of Cornwall.

MARION — The March entertainment lineup at the Marion Palace Theatre will include performances by Chicago tribute band Brass Transit, Celtic musicians Lone Raven and an Easter celebration with the local a cappella group NINE.

ADA – The Ohio Northern Symphony will present a concert, “Black History and Brahms” at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at Ohio Northern University. The concert will be conducted by music director Travis Jürgens.
