Sheriffs endorse Cross

The three county sheriffs in the 83rd Ohio House district have endorsed Jon Cross for state representative in the May 8 Republican primary, the campaign announced Tuesday. Hancock County Sheriff Michael E. Heldman, Hardin County Sheriff Keith A. Everhart and Logan County Sheriff Randall J. Dodds offered their support in a video endorsement that was released by the campaign.

Ohio Hi-Point board announces plan to seek .6 mill levy to renovate building

BELLEFONTAINE – In the first of two votes, the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education on Wednesday night voted unanimously to place a .6 mill permanent improvement issue on the May 8, 2018 ballot to renovate the career center’s 43-year-old building to provide students advanced technical training for 21st century jobs.
