Husted encourages Republicans to vote

As the race to become Ohio's next governor enters its final two weeks, Jon Husted, who is running for Lt. Governor on the ticket with Mike DeWine, encouraged Hardin County Republicans to get out the vote for their candidate. "There is a lot at stake in this election," Husted told the Republicans at their headquarters in Kenton on Monday.

Commissioner hopefuls air county challenges

Candidates for Hardin County commissioner offered their views on a variety of issues during a town hall meeting sponsored by Hardin County Talks on Tuesday evening at the Jacob Parrott Safety Center (sheriff’s office) in Kenton. Republican Tim Striker and Democrat Ron Eastman agreed on several views on the future of the county, but saw thing differently on other issues.
