The Hardin County Probate and Juvenile courts will be closed from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 27.

A Kenton man was sentenced to two years in prison for drug-related charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

The Hardin County Recorder’s Office reported the following transactions for March:

Jared E. Craid, 0599 TR 30, Ada – speeding 40 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $250. Case was heard by acting Judge Colleen O’Connell. Darrian Lease, unknown address – speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

A Kenton man was sent to prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of possession of heroin in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records, Jeremy Lee Madison, 602 W. Franklin St., Kenton, was sentenced to 12 months in prison by Judge Scott Barrett.

Jenifer D. Badertscher, 0589 Ohio 235, Ada – speeding 39 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $250.

Rea Monyeen Bowersock, 414 W. Highland Ave., Apt. B, Ada and Madison Lynn Winegardner, same address.

ADA – The United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces will hear oral arguments at Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law at 2 p.m. on April 5 in the Large Moot Courtroom. This is the court’s first time holding session at an Ohio law school.
