It was a little advice from Jonathan Hanover’s father, Thomas, that started him down the path to becoming a minister. Hanover is the pastor at the Kenton First United Methodist Church and has been on the job for just over a week.

Motorcyclists gathered at Payne Chapel Church in Kenton on Saturday for the first Circuit Preacher Ride, hosted by Road Riders for Jesus.

To say that it has been raining a lot lately is an understatement. The ground is completely soaked. Many roads and fields around Hardin County have been flooded and we are still lucky compared with Kalida and Putnam County.

Road Riders for Jesus, a Christian Motorcycle Ministry, will be hosting a fundraiser ride on Saturday, June 20 at Payne Chapel Church, 437 N. Market St., Kenton. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
