The Auglaize Free United Baptist Church, located 15 miles west of Kenton at 11890 Ohio 309, Maysville, will be hosting an all-you-can-eat country-style breakfast and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Donations are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 7-13. Children under 6 eat free.

LIMA — Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 W. Market St., Lima, is presenting the final concert of the 2017-2018 Ronald W. Richards Music Series on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Performing will be the Ohio Northern University Singers and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Christopher Larsen.

As I grow older and face increasing health concerns, I have been giving a lot of thought to that Christian belief called “the resurrection of the body to life everlasting”. This key doctrine of the Christian faith is celebrated by the Church with Easter.

ADA — A revival with Pat Wilson is set for April 15-17 at the Ada Full Gospel Church, 1047 Ohio 235, Ada. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday services are at 7 p.m.

WAYNESFIELD — International explorer and best-selling author Dr. Jim Rankin will be coming to Waynesfield Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 15. Rankin has been credited with locating and discovering some of the Bible’s lost artifacts and locations of biblical events that were once thought to be lost forever.

It is not hard to see that there is something wrong with our world. But not everyone agrees on what is wrong and what is the cause. There are many theories and many answers to this question.

ADA — St. Paul United Church of Christ in Ada will be celebrating the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday, April 1, with a sunrise service at 8:30 a.m. (breakfast to follow) and an Easter worship service at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be led by Pastor John Nagel, with special music during the service by Victoria Nagel.

In the class a year ahead of me in high school there was a very gifted runner. Sonny Jones was an outstanding distance runner. On the track team, Sonny ran the 800m and the 1600m races. He also ran on the cross country team.

CAREY — The Carey Ecumenical Choir – Adoramus, will present its 8th annual Music Reflection at noon on Good Friday, March 30, in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey. This year’s program, The Colors of Grace, will bring you to the last moments of Christ’s life through narration and music inspired by the Gospels.
