Recently I came across an article in Psychology Today by Dr. Shane Lopez. Until his death, Dr. Lopez was the senior scientist for Gallup. He did extensive study on hope.

My wife and I sleep in a bedroom that was added on to our house long after it was built. The air flow and insulation in that particular bedroom are a bit lacking. Consequently, during the summer months, that room becomes unbelievably hot, and during the winter months, unbelievably cold.

We have a new puppy in our household. His name is Dewey and he is a 9 months old black retriever mix. Having a young dog who needs a lots of walks helps me to appreciate our neighborhood.
