FOREST - Community First Bancshares, Inc., the holding company of Community First Bank, N.A. of Forest, Kenton and Upper Sandusky, held its annual stockholders meeting April 23, 2019 at the Forest VFW social room in Forest. There were 81 stockholders present.

The Kenton council suspended its three reading rule and moved forward with several resolutions related to the city’s downtown infra-structure revitalization project during its regular session on Monday night.
The Kenton-Hardin Health Department is currently on track for deficit spending by 2021 following the approval of an additional $2,000 to cover accreditation costs. At its regular meeting on Tuesday, the board heard the financial report from Fiscal Officer Pam Romanko who was requesting an additional $8,000 to the accreditation budget, which was originally budgeted at $20,000.

The Goshen Township trustees have voted to change the starting time of their regular monthly meetings for the remainder of 2019 from 6 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The meetings will continue to be held on the first Monday of each month at the township hall, 21012 CR 100.
