The Hardin County Clerk of Courts Legal and Title offices will be closing at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to allow employees to attend a district meeting, announced Clerk of Courts Carrie Haudenschield.

The Hardin County Local Emergency Planning Committee will hold a quarterly meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Jacob Parrott Safety Center cafeteria, 1025 S. Main St., Kenton.

ALGER — The special meeting of the Alger Public Library Board of Trustees will be Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss library funding requirements. An incorrect date was provided for an article in Monday’s Times.

ADA — The Ada Village Council discussed at length the possibility of a sidewalk encroachment permit program for businesses at its regular meeting Tuesday night. According to a draft of the proposal, the permit would be seasonal, from April 1 through Oct. 15 of each year for an annual fee of $25.
