It was a million-dollar wind that roared through the Lynn Township farm of Jan and Cindy Layman late Sunday evening. As workers attempted to load grain on trucks from the damaged bins on Monday afternoon, it looked like the farm had been hit by a bomb.

The apartment complex fire which took the life of a Kenton man has been determined to have been the result of arson. Signs offering a reward of up to $5,000 have been posted for information leading to the arrest of the responsible person.

Kenton police investigate a two-vehicle crash that occurred late Friday morning on East Columbus Street at the east exit at Kmart. KPD Lt. Rob Lutes said the driver of a truck was pulling from the lot but failed to yield to a westbound van.
