New wastewater plan will help Ada to grow ADA — With a new wastewater treatment plant in place, the Village of Ada will be able to grow. Located on the east side of the village just off of County Road 44 (East Lincoln Avenue), the $15 million project is up and running and nearing 100 percent completion, with an estimated finish date of October. Silver Creek center comes back to life for ‘Nature Day’ The Silver Creek Center for Environmental Studies provided educational opportunities for area school age youth on a regular from 1986-2001. Due to budget reductions over the years, the center’s operator, the Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District district, was forced to eliminate an educational specialist and the programs fell by the wayside in the early 2000s.
