ADA — Games, activities and cool treats await children at the third annual Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Spring Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ada War Memorial Park.

Ada High School held its 109th Interclass competition on March 27 in the auditorium. The annual scholastic event featurs sophomores, juniors and seniors competing against each other in the areas of essay, poetry, short story and dramatic readings.

ALGER — The Alger Memorial Festival Committee is announcing plans for the 2015 Memorial Day Parade slated for Monday, May 25 at 2 p.m. The Theme for the parade is “Never Forget – Forever Honor.”

The Daisy, Brownie and Junior Troops from Dunkirk attended opening night of the play "Cinderella" performed by Hardin Northern students. The students put on an awesome performance and the Girl Scouts were thrilled with watching and listening to it.
