Couple celebrates 50th

Jim and Janice Legge will celebrate 50 years of marriage on March 26, 2015. Their children welcome friends and family to attend an open house in their honor on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Forbing Community Centre located at 122 N. Main Street, Kenton.

FINDLAY -- Three area students attending the University of Findlay recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Grace Poeppelman of West Mansfield, Melissa Sutton of Ada and Daniel Haas of Mount Blanchard are among approximately 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.

The Lake of Lights committee presented checks to the various groups for their help with set up, operations and tear down of the Lake of Lights 2014. The Lake of Lights gave more than $3,500 to the local organizations.
