The Hardin County Ministerial Association is hosting the annual Ecumenical Palm Sunday Service featuring choral arrangements sung by the Kenton High School Chorale.

CAREY — The Carey Ecumenical Choir – Adoramus, will present its annual Ecumenical Music Reflection at noon on Good Friday, April 3, in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, 315 Clay St., Carey.

I’ve had this old southern gospel song in my head for a while and I just can’t get rid of it. The song is, “When He Was On the Cross (I Was On His Mind),” and although I am not sure of the original artist, here are the lyrics:

The Bridgeport Church will present “Walk with Jesus” on Palm Sunday, March 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. During this event, visitors will meet and hear the stories of the people who were with Jesus between Palm Sunday and the Resurrection.

The Country Line Church of the Brethren will host its annual Love Feast on Thursday, April 2 in accordance with John 13.

A new restaurant is coming to Kenton later this year and it promises customers a unique dining experience. Table ONE will resemble many restaurants with one big exception – it will make the food it serves available to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

LIMA — Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 W. Market St., Lima, will present The Lima Area Concert Band Flute Choir as the second concert of the 2014-15 Ronald W. Richards Music Series on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Kenton extends an open invitation to anyone who has someone in their life that is presently incarcerated to attend its weekly informal meeting called S.O.L.O. (Supporting Our Loved Ones).
