Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Kenton held its first Mother Daughter Banquet on Saturday, May 13, hosted by Lisa Clark.

Spring is a wonderful time when the brown and gray colors of winter are replaced with the bright green, white and yellow and everything seems to be coming alive. Easter celebration of Christ’s resurrection gives us then powerful hope that God’s love is stronger than death.

Hardin County Granges will host the 2017 Rural Life Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, Kenton on Sunday, May 7. There will be a carry-in meal at 1 p.m. with a program at 2 p.m.
