A proposal to keep the secretary’s office door locked after noon on Tuesday of the fair and for it to stay locked for the duration of the fair was voted down at Saturday’s meeting of the Hardin County Agricultural Society. Twenty directors and 17 guests were present at the meeting, called to order by President Howard Lyle.

Ticket sales have picked up for the Lauren Alaina concert set for Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Hardin County Fair. The Hardin County Agricultural Society is awaiting state approval for the location of a new livestock show arena for small animal shows.
