The Hardin County Junior Fair Livestock Sale generated nearly $400,000 for the young sellers on Saturday. Market premium and add-ons totaled $398,031, according to results provided by the livestock sale committee.

Avery and Jacob Ayers rustled up a stray to participate in the round up at the sheep lead show at the 2018 Hardin County Fair, but the lamb thought Avery's hat looked like a good candidate for dinner.

Caitlyn Stover of the Ada FFA was selected as this year's showman of showmen at the Hardin County Fair. Stover was the top sales person in the senior division of the poultry show and was named the best showman in handling all the species at the fair contest.

Hardin County Fairgoers will attempt to dodge raindrops this weekend as the annual event wraps up its six-day run. Scheduled activities today include a country music concert at 7 p.m. in the grandstand with opening act Brown and Gray and featured performer Dylan Scott.
