The Hardin County Agricultural Society met Wednesday, April 3 with 19 directors and eight guests present. Corey Ledley, president, called the meeting to order. The board agreed to ticket prices for the Saturday night entertainment the same as last year – $15, $20 and $25. The entertainer will be announced on Friday, May 24 with online tickets going on sale June 7.

Activities are being lined up for the 2019 Hardin County Fair, it was reported Wednesday at the February board meeting of the Hardin County Agricultural Society. Fourteen directors and 13 guests were present. Brad Murphy, vice president, called the meeting to order.

The Hardin County Fair Board, at its holiday dinner meeting this week, recognized two board members for their long-time service. Paul Rickenbacer (top photo) and Howard Lyle (bottom photo) were presented plaques by President Corey Ledley.

The Hardin County Agricultural Society met Wednesday, November 7, 2018, for their November board meeting. Nineteen directors were present and seven guests were present. Corey Ledley, president, called the meeting to order. Mark Badertscher, OSU Extension Agent, asked if the board would be interested in finding a place to hang the Agriculture Hall of Fame pictures. There are currently around 50 and that number grows by around four each year.

The Hardin County Fair Board has a director position for Goshen Township available for an appointed one-year term. Anyone who is a member of the society can apply for the position.

The Hardin County Agricultural Society will hold its annual election for directors on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the fair office at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Members of the Agricultural Society who reside in the townships open for election may vote on the director representing their township.
