Plaugher medals, but Kenton falls to Defiance Posted on August 2, 2024 0 DEFIANCE — Landon Plaugher had the top round with a 39, but the Kenton boys golf team fell 175-178 to Western Buckeye League hosts Defiance in the season opener for both teams Thursday at Eagle Rock Golf Club. Plaugher’s medalist total of 39 was three strokes ahead of Boden Stoller’s 42 for Defiance. Kenton’s Dawson Miller carded a 44. Oliver Sneary scored a 47 and Jack Whitmer a 48. Parker Benson got a 50 and Thomas Mustain a 52 to round it out. Defiance’s Brayden Weaver and Drew Nusbaum both shot 44s. Jaren Honsberger came in at 45, Drew Hoeffel at 47 and Kahlil Ligon at 49.
