Cadence Coy led the Polar Bears with five aces. Ava Hopson had eight digs, while Blaire Hipsher had seven and Kylee Legge followed with six and a team-best 12 assists. Bella Wilson added five kills. Heidi Traschel and Emma Martin each had three kills. Stats were not received by presstime for the Rams. USV’s next match is Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Spencerville. Hardin Northern plays the third of four-game roadstand at Elida on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
