Hicks, 82, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 in Brooksville, Fla.She was born on March 7, 1937 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Ralph and Freda Brown. Virginia graduated from McCutchenville High School in 1955 and went on to Heidelberg College where she was part of the Philalethean Society. She was an Eastern Star member for more than 50 years. She married Ollie Hicks on April 18, 1959. Ollie died less than a month before Virginia. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in April.She is survived by her daughters, Terri Lewis (Andy Winter) of River Falls, Wis., Tammi Putnam (Bill Putnam) of Fort Worth, Texas, Traci Galzerano (John Forand) of Brooksville, Fla.; her son, Todd Hicks of Granbury, Texas; and grandchildren include Tyler Hicks, Jalen Forand, McKenna and Grace Putnam.She was loved by her children and her close friends.
