Winners of the 2018 Hardin County Fair’s junior fair poultry show were announced on Thursday.

Champion pullet pen — Wyatt Fisher of Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H showed the champion pen of 3 pullets during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Wyatt is the son of Nick and Tara Fisher of Ada. Times photos/Kendrick Jesionowski

Senior showmanship — Caitlyn Stover of Ada FFA won first place for senior showmanship during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Caitlyn is the daughter of Curt and Amy Stover of Ada.

Reverse single bantam — Caitlyn Stover of Ada FFA exhibited the reserve champion single bantam rooster during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Caitlyn is the daughter of Curt and Amy Stover of Ada.

Reserve turkey — Dakota Gossman showed the reserve champion commercial turkey during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Dakota, a member of Ada Barnyard Farmers, is the son of Katie Gossman of Ada. Also pictured is Hardin County Poultry Queen Kelsey Stansfield.

Reserve heavyweight — Elizabeth Brown showed the champion heavyweight chicken during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Elizabeth, the daughter of Mike and Amyial Brown of Alger, is a member of Pawsitive Attitudes 4-H.

Reserve goose — Jared McNeely of Boots n Buckles 4-H showed the reserve champion goose during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Jared is the son of Ron and Eileen McNeely of Kenton.

Reserve broiler pen — Keller Stout showed the reserve champion pen of 3 market broilers during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Keller, a member of the Taylor Creek Lads and Lassies 4-H, is the daughter of Theron and Shana Stout of Kenton.

Intermediate showman — Wyatt Brown of Pawsitive Attitudes 4-H won first place for intermediate showmanship during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Wyatt is the son of Michael and Amyial Brown of Kenton.

Grand champion — Slade Gossman of Ada Barnyard Farmers showed the grand champion commercial turkey during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Slade is the son of Katie Gossman of Ada. Also pictured is Hardin County Poultry Queen Kelsey Stansfield.

Grand champion broilers — Sean Kuhlman showed the grand champion pen of 3 broilers during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Sean is the son of Scott and Shannon Kuhlman of Kenton.

10-12 showmanship — Mariann Woodruff of Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H won first place for 10-12 year old showmanship during the junior fair poultry show on Thursday. Mariann is the daughter of Vern and Carla Woodruff of Kenton.

Showmanship experts — Gabrielle Weaver (left) and McKenzie Jolliff get out of their comfort zones as they show species other than their own during the showman of showman competition Sunday at the Hardin County Fair. The top senior showmen in each species competed showing all other nine species and public speaking in the event.

Poultry showman — Josie Schwemer (left) of the Boots and Buckels 4-H club was named the top showman in the age-9 showmanship contest at the 2018 Hardin County Fair. With Josie is her sister, Callie. Their parents are John and Chassie Schwemer of Kenton.
