Tractor and truck pull tonight at fair

The Hardin County Tractor and Truck Pull is the grandstand entertainment tonight at the Hardin County Fair.

It is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

A rainy evening may have held down attendance on Thursday as the paid gate was 378 with an estimated total crowd of 5,415.

That compares to a paid gate of 469 and an estimated crowd of 6,037 a year ago.

Harness racing attracted 178 in the afternoon and 244 in the evening.

Friday, Sept. 7

4 p.m. – Glass blower presentation – north end of fairgrounds

5:30 p.m. – Dino-Roar Show – Children’s area

6 p.m. – Wood carver presentation – north end of fairgrounds

7 p.m. – Hardin County Truck and Tractor Pull – Grandstand; Dino-Roar Show – Children’s area

7:30 p.m. – Glass blower presentation – north end of fairgrounds

8:30 p.m. – Wood carver presentation – north end of fairgrounds

10 p.m. – Exhibit buildings close

11 p.m. – Rides stop and fairgrounds closes
