KHS, BL each put one in semis

Kenton and Ben Logan each advanced one wrestler to the semifinals in Division II district action on Friday night. Kenton sophomore C.J. Cook reached the semifinals at the Fostoria District.

ELIDA — Top-seeded Lima Central Catholic defeated No. 10 Riverdale in a Division III sectional final, 95-37, on Friday. Dantez Walton scored 23 of his 31 points in the first half, and Tre Cobbs added 21, including five 3-pointers.

Good third quarter pushes Minister by Ada

COLDWATER — Minster pulled away from Ada in the third quarter of a Division IV boys basketball sectional final and went on to defeat the Bulldogs 62-43 on Friday night. Minster led 15-12 after one quarter and 27-23 at halftime.

Search continues for woman

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of 57-year-old Toni Schorr, of southern Hardin County. According to a release from Sheriff Keith Everhart, Schorr is reported to have left her residence Wednesday evening, Feb. 24.

R’dale FFA hosts first Agri-Science Fair

The Riverdale FFA Science and Technology of Food class hosted and took part in its first Agri-Science Fair. Members could work with a partner or individual to come up with and complete a research based project that had something to do with the food science industry.
