Jeffrey S. McCloud, 915 Cooper St., reported that sometime after 8 p.m. on Friday, an unknown person cut four tires on his truck which was parked in his driveway. The unknown person also entered the unlocked truck and took an undetermined amount of loose change.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office has received a report of a young black man in his 20s approaching individuals stating that he is representing the Upward Sports Program and is soliciting donations by selling candy. Purportedly, proceeds from the candy sales are to be used for the purchase of uniforms and to pay tournament expenses.
