Grant will help Kenton policeto buy backup radio system

A Homeland Security grant will enable Kenton to acquire radio equipment to back up the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
Police Chief John Vermillion told City Council Monday night that his department just learned it has been awarded the $17,500 grant.
