Searls Lydia E. "Sissy", 52 Forest Services for Lydia E. "Sissy" Searls will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest, by Pastor Dennis Livingston. Burial will follow in Patterson Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. She died at 1:32 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. She was born Aug. 29, 1956, in Kenton to James A. Ridgeway and Louise E. Grubbs, both deceased. She married Albert L. Searls on Oct. 25, 1975, and he survives in Forest. Also surviving are a daughter, Christina (James) Gottfried of Forest; three grandchildren, Jamie L., Jackson L. and Jonathan D. Gottfried; and a brother, Michael (Paula) Ridgeway of Upper Sandusky. She graduated in 1975 from Riverdale High School. She was a nurses aide at the Corinthian Nursing Home in Kenton and had worked at the L&W Restaurant, Forest. She was a member of Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge 1093 and Eagles Club 2184. She enjoyed making crafts, decorating for all holidays and making more food than an army could eat.
