Services for Charles C. Baker will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Kenton by the Rev. Scott Johnson and Pastor Chuck Zweizig. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton, where an Elks Lodge of Sorrow will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
He died at 11:53 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born June 24, 1917, in Hardin County to Henry and Thea (Lambert) Baker. On June 23, 1940, he married Mary E. Keckler and she died Nov. 7, 1981.
Surviving are a son, Steven (Carmen) Baker of Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Patricia Fintel of Upper Sandusky; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Woods.
He was retired from Durez and farming.
A Kenton High School graduate, he was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and B.P.O.E. 157, and past exalted ruler of B.P.O.E. 157, serving in 1949-1950.
Memorials may be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Services for Chester A. France will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Central Church of Christ by Pastor Steven Umphress. Burial will be in the Ridgeway Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by AmVets Post 1994.
Friends may call 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton.
He died at 8:55 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
He was born Nov. 4, 1930 in LaRue to Russell and Carrie (Martin) France.
Surviving are good friend, Don Morrison of Kenton; Ralph (Gerty) France of Mount Victory and two sisters, Ilene Baldwin and Tootie (Waldo) Scott, both of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by six sisters, Ruth Rumer, Lelia Canter, Gladys Edmiston, Pauline France, Mable Martin and Milly Hoge and two brothers, Cecil and Denny France.
He was a 1949 graduate of Ridgeway High School and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was employed by Gulf Oil.
He was the former treasurer of the Kenton City Schools and worked at Rockwell International and the Ohio Department of Taxation. He was owner of Touch of Nostalgia and helped form the Hardin County Cancer and Heart Association.
He was a past member and president of the Kenton Rotary Club.
He was a member of the Blanchard River C. of C.

Services for Beverly J. Rodabaugh will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mount Blanchard United Methodist Church.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home in Findlay and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
She died at 10:25 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at her residence.
She was born in Amanda Township, Hancock County to the late Everett C. and Mabel J. (Tong) Bowman. On Jan. 2, 1955, she married Rolland “Pete” Rodabaugh and he survives.
Also survivng are a daughter Cindy (Dan) Riegle of rural Arlington; a son, John R. (Diane) Rodabaugh of Mount Blanchard; a family adopted son, Jeff (Cheryl) Rodabaugh of rural Arlington; six grandchildren, Jessica Riegle, Elizabeth Riegle, Nicole Rodabaugh, Shane Rodabaugh, Morganne Rodabaugh and Malory Rodabaugh; and a sister-in-law, Carol Bowman.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Bowman, who died in January of 1991.
She was a homemaker and a 1953 graduate of Mount Blanchard High School, was a lifelong member of the Mount Blanchard United Methodist Church and was a member of the Fort Findlay Doll Fanciers.
Beverly genuinely loved her family. Celebrating Christmas and creating family traditions was very important to her. She loved sewing, quilting and crafts.

She died Friday afternoon, Sept. 26. 2008 at the corner of Ohio 67 and Ohio 37 of natural causes. Lydia E. Searls, age 52, of CH 142 Forest, OH died Fri. afternoon Sept. 26, 2008 at the corner of SR 67 & SR 37 Upper Sandusky, OH. Arrangements are pending at Clark Shields Funeral Home.
