Services for Lily V. Hollis will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor David Schneer. Following the service the body will be cremated at her request.
Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
She died at 5:50 a.m. today, Aug. 29, 2008, at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton.
She was born June 29, 1921, in Lima to Clifford L. and Katherine (Thompson) Mowery. In 1939 she married Howard Sprague and he preceded her in death in 1969. She later married Tom Hollis on May 17, 1981, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Franklin (Elizabeth Irene) Sprague of Lima and Robert (Marie) Sprague of Indiana; two daughters, Marilyn Shaw of Ada and Karen Miller of Breman, Ind.; a sister, Elizabeth Guyton of Springfield; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Sprague; a grandson; two sisters, Esther and Lucille Mowery and four brothers, William, Henry, Frank and Gene Mowery.
She attended the Alger Assembly of God Church in Alger.
Memorials may be sent to the Hardin County Area Cancer and Heart Society, 526 S. Main St., Kenton or a charity of the donor’s choice.

A memorial service for Martha L. Godwin Powell was held on Aug. 7.
She died at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at Hospice of Hamilton.
She was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Ridgeway to Howard and Margaret (Beaty) Godwin. On June 27, 1953, she married James D. Powell and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Surviving is a son, James H. (Kathleen) Powell of Hamilton; a daughter, Beth Powell of West Chester and two grandchildren.
She was a 1946 graduate of Ridgeway High School.
She was a teacher at Ross Local Schools and a member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.
