Services for Hermine Elizabeth Boehm will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera by Pastors Alois Schmitzer III and Jeffery Bolwerk. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
She died at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Findlay.
She was born July 1, 1921, to the late Henry and Ida (Arras) Heldman. On Aug. 30, 1942, she married Harold Boehm and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Jim H. (Linda L.) Boehm of Racine, Wis., and Mark N. (Jane A.) Boehm of rural Rawson; two daughters, Ruth A. (John) Schwertfeger of Mankato, Minn., and Linda E. (Dan M.) Webb of rural Jenera.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Henry Heldman and an infant sibling.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the church choir. She was a longtime member of the Hoe n Hope Garden Club.

Services for Freda Mae "Pinky" Hastings will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton by the Rev. Don Flory. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today.
She died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
She was born March 10, 1929, in Kenton to Joseph C. and Mary C. (Wagner) Stober. In 1949 she married John E. Hastings and he died Sept. 18, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Hastings of Moraine and Joe Hastings of Lima; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons; and a brother, Gene (Nevada) Stober of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Stober.
She was retired from Atlas Industries in Dunkirk as a machinist. She previously worked at North Electric.
A 1947 graduate of Kenton High School, she was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and past district treasurer. She was active at the Hardin County Council on Aging.

Garland E. "Gary" Lanthron died Wednesday morning, Aug. 13, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Per his family's request, services will not be observed.
He was born Feb. 18, 1946, in Columbus, the son of the late Marion and Sena (Stevens) Lanthron.
Before graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Collette Lanthron, on Feb. 19, 1963. Together they shared over 45 wonderful years of marriage.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia Lanthron; a daughter, Machelle (William "Lee") Stitt of Marion; two sons, Gary Richard (Connie) Lanthron of Marion and Bruce Lanthron of Kenton; six grandchildren, Ashley Arthur, Joshua Blevins, Zachary Lanthron, Brent and Brandon Stitt, and Cynthia Lanthron; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronnie Lanthron of Columbus; and a sister, Connie (Robert) Price of Westerville.
A jack of all trades, he had been successful in many endeavors throughout his life. He had worked as a paramedic, photographer, limo driver, and welder, and most recently he drove truck for the past six years for Midwest Logistics Systems.
For many years, he served the citizens of Marion County as a sergeant with the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
On his beloved Goldwing cycle, he enjoyed taking trips down to the riverboats in Indiana, and he enjoyed the outdoors.
Arrangements are by the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home in Marion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his wife in care of the funeral home.
