Services for Beverly Hackworth will be at noon Saturday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor Jack Duffy. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and until time of services Saturday. A Masonic service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home by Latham Lodge F&AM 154.
He died at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Woodlands Assisted Living Facility in Columbus.
He was born April 1, 1919, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Charles and Ollie (Stephens) Hackworth. On Aug. 10, 1940, he married Daisy Parrott. They were married for 68 years and she survives in Columbus.
Also surviving are a daughter, Virginia (Ronald) Brubaker of Gahanna; a brother, Bruce (Grace) Hackworth of Prestonsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Mabel Leamon of Cromwell, Ind., and Alka Hale of Waverly; two grandchildren, J. David Dever of Atlanta, Ga., and Timothy D. (Angela) Dever of Westerville and two great-grandchildren, Craig and Megan Dever of Westerville.
He retired from Clark Equipment in 1979.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ada; a member and past master of the Ada Masonic Lodge 344 F&AM; a member of the Ada Chapter 138 Royal Arch Masons and a 32nd Degree Valley of Columbus. He was also an honorary member of the 357 Diamond Club.

She died at 12:30 a.m. today, Aug. 14, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
She married John E. Hastings and he preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2000.

Graveside services for Eleanor B. Herndon will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Willowbranch Cemetery in Waynesfield by the Rev. Kathleen Hayes.
She died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Phillipsburg Care Center in New Jersey.
She was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Walcott, N.D. to Otto and Josephine Higlie Larson. She married Robert Herndon and he preceded her in death in 1967.
Surviving are a son, Alan (Linda) Herndon of Bloomsbury, N.J.; two grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Percy Larson and Roger Larson, both of Fargo N.D. and Olmar Larson of California and a sister, Helen Anderson of Fargo, N.D.
She retired from Lima Memorial Hospital in 1985.
She was a member of the Stewartsville Lutheran Church in Stewartsville, N.J.
