Services for Louella Lawrence will be 1 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home in Kenton by the Rev. James Holbrook. Burial will be in Fairview McDonald Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
She died at 11:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born Oct. 30, 1931, in Orange County, Ind., to Wiley and Sarah (Hurt) Adkins. In November 1950 she married George Henry Lawrence Sr. and they divorced.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry Wayne Lawrence of Dunkirk, James (Cindy) Lawrence of Kenton and Clayton (Rhonda) Lawrence of Marysville; two daughters, Joyce (Everett) McCarthy of Ridgeway and Peggy Gunett of Bellefontaine; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Corbit (Martha) Adkins of Kenton and Paul (Chris) Adkins of Belle Center and three sisters, Mary (Charles) Hamilton and Delores Waddle, both of Kenton and Wilma (Elliott) Prater of Alger.
She was preceded in death by a son, George Lawrence Jr. and two brothers, Charles Adkins and Kenneth Adkins.
She worked as a nurses aide at the Corinthian Nursing Home for 17 years.
She attended Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
