Services for Edna R. Brewer will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Rev. G. Alan Brown, II. O.S.L. and Pastor Bill Herr. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and until time of services Friday.
She died at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
She was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Alger to James Ed and Rose (Wells) Stevenson. On June 30, 1940, she married John H. Brewer and he died Feb. 1, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Raymond H. (Nancy) Brewer of Holland, Mich.; a daughter, Sharon (Ronald) Gibson of Grant, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Brewer of Ada; five grandchildren, Penny Brewer, Mark Brewer, Jason Meyer, Patricia Monroe and Kim Brewer and five great-grandchildren, Cody Brewer, Collin Brewer, Siera Monroe, Brielle Monroe and Rebecca Meyer.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Brewer; four sisters, Golda Kimble, Dorothy Wilson, Freda Leedy and Grace Obenour and three brothers, James Stevenson, Victor Stevenson and Frank Stevenson.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church in Ada and a member of the United Methodist Women at the church.
She was also a member of the American Legion Post 185 of Ada Ladies' Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to Sugar Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund in Ada and/or Hardin Home Health Care in Kenton.

Arrangements for Ava M. Elsasser are incomplete at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home in Kenton.
She died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton.
She was the widow of Robert Elsasser, who died Jan. 22, 1999.

Services for Georgia Shepherd will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor Phil Brenneman. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ada.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday and until the time of services Saturday.
She died at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton.
She was born Oct. 7, 1907, in Salyersville, Ky., to William Lewis and America (Bradley) Shepherd.
Surviving are a sister, Opal Snyder of Lima; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Willis, Edward, Henry, Harless, Ellis, Clarence and Elmer Shepherd; two sisters, Susan Conley and Hazel McKenzie; a half brother, Sherman Shepherd and two half sisters, Prudence Spradlin and Dora Patrick.
She taught at Lewistown before opening her own Beauty Shop in Urbana.
She was a member of the Roundhead United Methodist Church of Roundhead and a member of the United Methodist Women's group.
She graduated from McGuffey High School then graduated from Ohio Northern University in Ada.
She loved following politics and was an avid Democrat. She especially loved her family and her church.
