Upper Sandusky

Services for Elizabeth Mae Hughes will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Edward Fugate. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday.
She died at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.
She was born May 17, 1911, in Carlock, Ill., to George D. and Amy Priscilla (Riech) Arnold. She married Lemness E. Hughes on April 29, 1929, in Upper Sandusky and he died Feb. 16, 1980.
Surviving are a daughter, Lois Warner of LaRue; two sons, Dale (Mary) Hughes of LaRue and Vern (Peg) Hughes of West Chester, Pa.; six grandchildren, Larry (Ann) Warner, Warren Warner, Terri (Don) Wolf, Jennifer (Michael) Bowker, Tara Hughes and Sean (Caroline) Hughes; four step-grandchildren, Dixie (Bill) Akers, Rick (Becky) Dean, Dale A. Dean and Vicki (Gene) Elkins; six great-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, George Arnold Jr. of Orlando, Fla., and two sisters, Dorothy Brady of Bowling Green and Jean Blackford of Raleigh, N.C.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dora Strine; three brothers, Lawrence, Harold and Wayne Arnold; and a step grandson, Howard Dean.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Wyandot County Senior Citizens. For hobbies she enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking and baking.

There will be no services for Irwin Karl Paulun. Burial will be at a later date.
He died at 8:55 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1929, in Detroit, Mich. to Karl and Hattie (Golee) Paulun. On Aug. 1, 1953, he married Clara Mae Meyers and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are two sons, David Irwin (Melinda) Paulun of Kenton and Steven Thomas (Joyce) Paulun of Wyandotte, Mich.; a daughter, Janice (John) Mustain of Kenton; four grandchildren, Jessica Paulun of Southgate, Mich., Mitchell Mustain of Seattle, Wash., Emilia (Jacob) Ward of Mount Vernon and Nelson Mustain of Kenton; a great-grandson, Parker Ward of Mount Vernon and two brothers, Melvin Paulun of Manchester, Mich., and James Paulun of St. Clair Shores, Mich.
He was a security guard at Great Lakes Steel in Ecorse, Mich., for 42 years.
He was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Wyandotte, Mich., and attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Kenton.
He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
Price Funeral Home in Kenton is in charge of arrangements.

Findlay

Services for Billy J. Morrison will begin with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at Routson Funeral Chapel, Findlay.
He died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at Blanchard Valley Health Center in Findlay.
He was born in Kenton on Jan. 31, 1947, to Harlan and Lola (Bailey) Morrison. He married Judy Harris in 1973 in Dunkirk. They later divorced.
Surviving are a son, Clint (Amanda) Morrison of Findlay; two daughters, Julie (Rod) Wise of Findlay and Jolene LaRue of Bluffton; four sisters, Adeline “Abbey” (Richard "Dick") Rucker of Ostrander, Marilyn Pratt, Judy Kearley and Phylliss Bowman, all of Kenton; four brothers, Orville Morrison of Gainesville, Ala., Jim Morrison of Alger, Don Morrison of Dola and Rick Morrison of Forest; five grandsons Steven, Ein, Seth, Shaun and James; six granddaughters, Jessica, Brianna, Samantha, Crystal, Jennifer and Tina. He is also survived by two additional sons and three daughters.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alberta “Blondie” and Carrie Jane and two brothers, Franklin and Ovie "Dean".
He served in the U.S. Navy as a Boilerman Third Class during the Vietnam War.
He serviced and installed fire extinguishers for AGA Gas until he retired in 1993.
He was lifetime member of the Amvets Post 21, Sad Sacks, the DAV and the VFW.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Routson Funeral Chapel, 201 Osborn Ave Findlay, OH 45840.
