Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Services for Donald L. Fry will be 10 a.m. Monday at Vinson Funeral Home in Tarpon Springs, Fla. Burial will be in Cycadia Cemetery.
He died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, Fla.
He was born in Hardin County and moved to Tarpon Springs in 1978. He was married to Lou for 47 years and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Truman (Pam) Fry of Tupelo, Miss.; a daughter, Patty Shell of Holiday, Fla.; two brothers, Harold (Joyce) Fry of Ada and Gerald (Phylis) Fry of Alger; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Jackson and Robert Jackson and two brothers, Ray and Bob Fry.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a life member of the Elks, the Moose, the Eagles and the NRA.
He was a farmer for many years in Ohio. He also owned and operated a restaurant in Tarpon Springs for many years.
