Services for Evelyn V. Clinger will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Clark-Shields Funeral Home in Forest by the Rev. Donald Clinger. Burial will be in the Hueston Cemetery in Forest at a later time.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
She died at 8:55 a.m. Monday, July 7, 208 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center in Arlington.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918 in Houcktown to Harry O. and Mary Smith. She married Ralph Clinger, Jr. on Feb. 14, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Gina G. Kresser of Forest and Sharleen Sue Clinger of Mesick, Michigan; a grandson, Joshua J. (Kristine) Kresser of Findlay; two great-granddaughters, Illiana and Sephrina Kresser, both of Findlay; three sisters, Sara (Paul) Pepple and Mary Jo (Ted) Morrow, both of Findlay and Jacqueline Fahl of Arlington and 11 nephews and nieces.
She was a member of the former Virginia Rebakah Lodge 363 of Forest and was of the United Methodist faith.

There will be a gathering of friends and family for Kathryn Mayse at her home at 3640 Co. Rd. 75, east of Ada from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. It was her request to be cremated.
The Price Funeral Home, Kenton, is in charge of the arrangements.
She died at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Jan. 25, 1922 in Oklahoma to John and Nelle (Long) Costello. On June 1, 1955, she married James Mayse in Bakersfield, Calif. and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Don (Bobbi) Tucker of Prescott, Arizona and Tim (Jan) Sciacqua of Visalia, Calif.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Jewell and Edith, both of California.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She was a retired LPN.

Services for Leslie C. Skidmore will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Boyd Funeral Home in Marion by Rev. Jackie Underhill. Burial will be in the Meeker Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
He died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1927 to Leslie Owen Skidmore and Helen (Wilgus) Skidmore in West Mansfield. He married Georgia J. Criswell in Marion in 1951 and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kent C. (Sheryl) Skidmore of LaRue; a daughter, Karole (Don) Skidmore-Roth of Mount Gilead; five grandchildren, Karie (Craig) Staley, Korie Wetzel, Katie (Gary) Eichorn, Ryan (Ashley) Skidmore, Brandon Skidmore and three great-grandchildren, Becca Staley, Kimberly Staley, Natalee Eichorn and the fourth due in early August.
He was preceded in death by a younger infant brother and a daughter, N. Kaye Wetzel.
He graduated from Byhalia High School and was later employed by Motor Products Co. of Marion.
After a brief employment with Opakasit Farm Management Corp. of Byhalia, he began his own farming business.
He retired from farming after 35 years and later was employed with Herring Farms of Upper Sandusky until his illness.
He was a member of the Southwest #3 Farm Bureau Council of Wyandot County and the Harpster United Methodist Church.
He was also a member of the Hampshire Association, Farmers Union.
His main enjoyment in life was the love and time he spent with his family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harpster United Methodist Church.
