She was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Hardin County.

Graveside services for Ressie Mae (Craig) Harner will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Preston Cemetery in Alger by the Rev. Jerry Craig of Toledo.
She died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at Lakeside Hospital in Niles, Mich.
She was born June 25, 1939, in McGuffey to Nathan and Susie (Burton) Craig, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 13, 1959, she married Vern Harner, who survives in Niles, Mich.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald Harner of Niles, Mich.; two grandchildren, Ronnie Marie and Brian, both of Niles, Mich.; a sister, Mary Ballinger of Lafayette; a brother, Edgar (Carolyn) Craig of Kenton and nieces and nephews.
She attended McGuffey High School.
She was employed for several years at the Holiday Inn in Niles, Mich.
She enjoyed traveling to her brother’s in Ohio with her husband for deer gun season.
She loved her family, friends and family pets, Hopper and Peaches.
She will be missed greatly by her husband, family and friends.
