Long Anita J., 76 Kenton Services for Anita J. Long will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Home in Kenton by the Rev. Scott Johnson. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. She died at 10:31 a.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Marion General Hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Marion to Arthur James and Alma (Packer) Combs. On Feb. 8, 1948, she married George Long and he survives in Kenton. Also surviving are three sons, Jerry (Helen) Long and Rick (Judy) Long, both of Kenton and Jim Long of Decatur, Ind.; two daughters, Connie (Dave) Sheets and Judy (Allen) Kendrick, both of Kenton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Marjorie Heilman of Marion. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Little and three brothers, Don Little, Junior Combs and LeRoy Combs. She was a homemaker and worked at the Pfeiffer Station General Store. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Kenton, the Potter's Camping Club and the former Kenton Lightning Riders. Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or Hardin County Hospice.
