She died at 2:15 a.m. today, June 18, 2008, in the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Services for Victoria L. Bowman Horn will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Hampshire United Methodist Church with burial at the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She died at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
She was born Oct. 13, 1917 in Mercer County to Harley and Daphine (Fender) Bowman. On April 24, 1940 in Uniopolis, she married Gerald Horn and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (Patricia) of Waynesfield and Gary (June) of New Hampshire; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Bowman; a sister, Betty Jane Bowman and a great-grandson.
She was a 1938 graduate of Grand Flower Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a surgical nurse until 1940. She worked for Mary Rutan Hospital and was the former director of nursing at Indian Lake Manor. She retired from Auglaize Acres in 1986.
She attended the New Hampshire United Methodist Church.
