Services for Elizabeth J. "Red" Anderson will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Alger Assembly of God Church by Pastor Mike Collingsworth. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
She died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at her home.
She was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Prestonburg, Ky., to Floyd and Maudie (Spradlin) Collingsworth. She married Charles E. Anderson and he preceded her in death Jan. 22, 1969.
Surviving is a son, Mike Anderson of Alger.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Neri, Beri, Ottis, Hershel, Paris and Paul and five sisters, Francis, Veva, Ollie, Ethel and Alla Marie.
She was a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church and a homemaker.

Graveside services for Carrie Edna Britton will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center by Pastor David C. Hawthorne.
There will be no visitation.
She died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Ridgeway to Charles W. and Florence (Ramsey) Daniel. On Nov. 2, 1945, she married Robert G. Britton and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1980.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry W. (Candace) Britton of Belle Center, Robert G. "Bobby" Britton Jr. of Bellefontaine and Larry (Kathy) Britton of Kenton; a brother, Charles Daniel of Bellefontaine; a sister, Hazel Moore of Zanesfield; two grandchildren, Melinda Frazier and Nichole Dzikus; two great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and James Daniel and three sisters, Bertha Hemminger, Ann Reed and Katherine Kindell.
She worked for Sperry Rubber in Belle Center and Siemens (Bulldog) in Bellefontaine.
She was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ.

Services for Clinton W. Deter will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington by the Rev. Steve Ramsey. Burial will be in Houcktown Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Friday at Crates Funeral Home in Arlington.
He died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born Jan. 28, 1919, in Eagle Township, Hancock County to Clinton W. and Mary H. (Segunie) Deter. On Feb. 6, 1943, he married H. Jeanette Smith and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Marcia (David) Musgrave of Arlington and Paula (Ron) Ansberry of Glenville, W.Va.; a daughter-in-law, Paula Deter of rural Findlay; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjory M. Light of rural Findlay and Jane O’Donnell of Colonial Heights, Va. and a brother, Robert P. Deter of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Timothy Deter; five brothers, Earl, Harold, Lester, Donald and Cloyce Deter and two sisters, Gertrude Ricketts and Hazel Young.
He retired in 1984 from Blanchard Valley Hospital with 25 years of service and was also a retired member of Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Services for Daniel L. Galvin will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada by Pastor Frank P. Smith Sr. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Lima.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and until time of services Saturday.
He died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1963, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to George M. and Mary Alice (Harbert) Galvin. His father preceded him in death on March 19, 2008, and his mother survives in Ada.
Also surviving is a brother, R. Thomas (Dolores) Galvin of New Haven, Ind.
He was a tool maker at Sypris Technologies in Kenton since May 30, 1994. He was a 1982 graduate of Allen East High School and in 1984 he received an associate degree in machine technology from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne.
He was a member of the Sager Masonic Lodge 513 F&AM of LaFayette and a master mason. He was a past master in 2003 of the lodge.
He was a member of the Yankee Bass Masters Club of Harrod and a member of the Upper Sandusky Bowling League.

She died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Otterbein Cridersville in Cridersville.
She was born Oct. 21, 1911, in Emporia, Va., to Harry and Ethel (Sprang) Smith. On Jan 25, 1947, she married Wayne Jenkins and he preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Joe (Christine) Jenkins of Jackson Center; three grandchildren, Amy Jenkins of Columbus, Andy (Sabina) Jenkins of Chicago, Ill., and Allyson Couchot of Center-ville and a great-granddaughter, Rachel Couchot.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Wood and a brother, Cloyd Smith.
She taught elementary school in Kenton, Wharton and Bellefontaine.
She was a 1928 graduate of Kenton High School and received her bachelor’s degree in education from Findlay College.
She was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church and the Hardin County Retired Teachers.
She was a past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge 3, a past participant in the Bellefontaine Literary Club and a past volunteer at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, following family sports activities, sketching, writing poetry, studying the Bible, traveling, watching baseball on television and following political campaigns and elections.
