There will be no services or visitation for Jewel D. Hall. It was her wish to be cremated. The Hanson-Neely Funeral Home of Ada is handling the arrangements.
She died at 11:20 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Richland Manor Nursing Home in Bluffton.
She was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Magoffin County, Ky., to Elijah and Gertie (Rowe) Combs. She married Walter Scott Hall and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Walter (Christina) Hall of Ada; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glen (Shirley) Combs of Kenton, Krit (Robin) Combs of Ralston, Ga., and Lance (Emma) Combs of Flat Gap, Ky.; and two sisters, Edith Prater and Bondi (Jim) Lightner, both of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley, Sylvester, Curtis and Oscar Combs and sisters, Joy Lee Gordon, Wanda Moore, Venus Shepherd and Barbara Combs.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Worldwide Church of God of Pasadena, California. She attended in Reynoldsburg.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, canning and taking care of her family.

Martin
Kenneth L. "Ken" Sr., 83
Dunkirk

Services for Kenneth L. "Ken" Martin Sr. will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Community Bible Church in Williamstown by the Rev. Bruce Colbert. Burial will be in Hueston Cemetery in Forest. Military graveside services will be conducted by Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home in Dunkirk.
He died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, following a courageous battle with cancer at the Bridge Hospice Center in Findlay.
He was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Lima to Harley and Nora (Kollar) Martin. On April 24, 1948, he married Clara Ingle in LaFayette and she survives in Dunkirk.
Also surviving are three daughters, Lorraine (Lawrence) Durenberger of Forest, Janice (Larry) Zickafoose of Dunkirk and Vicki (Patterson) Higgins of Findlay; three sons, Kenneth Martin Jr. of Kenton, Todd (Deb) Martin of Bluffton and Dean (Leah) Martin of Dunkirk; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chadwick and Raymond Martin and a sister, Angeline Blackburn.
He retired from Dana Corporation in Lima in 1987.
He was a member of the Community Bible Church in Williamstown, where he served as a deacon and usher for several years.
He was a member of the Hardin County Chapter of the Gideons International.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II for four years in the Pacific and Atlantic.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the Hardin County Chapter of Gideons International, Community Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.
