Arnold "Arnie/Doumpie" Jr., 69
Findlay
Funeral services for Arnold "Arnie/Doumpie" Bush Jr. will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay by Pastor Wayne Vaughn. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad.
All visitation will be private.
He died at 2:14 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born Aug. 4, 1938, in Kenton to the late Arnold, Sr. and Edith (McGruder) Bush. He married Alice M. Johnson and she preceded him in death on Nov. 25, 2007.
Surviving are five sons, David Johnson of Findlay, Mark Johnson of San Jose, Calif., Craig Bush of Seattle, Wash., Breck Bush of Findlay and Scott Bush of San Diego, Calif.; and two sisters: Phyllis Worthington and Patsy (Courtlan) Hoover, both of Kenton.
He was retired from RCA after 35 years.

Haggard

Services for Lillian E. Haggard will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center by Pastor David C. Hawthorne. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday.
She died at 4:02 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1915, in Hardin County near Bridgeport to Harry O. and Mamie Dell Thomson Musgrave. She was raised by her step-mother, Doris Hull Musgrave. On Jan. 1, 1936, she married Floyd W. Haggard in LaRue. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Harry Williams (Judy) Haggard of Lima; seven grandchildren, Ann Henning of West Chester, Christina (Jack) Hess of Marysville, Bill Henning of Pensacola, Fla., Todd (Kirstin) Haggard of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., Amy Goll of Oxford, Tina (Tony) Cummings of Sandusky and Sheri (Bob) Deily of Franklin and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Henning; a step-brother, Dale Musgrave; a grandchild and a great grandchild.
She was a homemaker who raised her children and helped run the family farm. She was a member of the Belle Center Church of Christ since 1954 and a member of Rockwell Retirees group.
She liked butterflies, flowers and spending winters in Florida. She also enjoyed being with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

Rapp

Ridgeway
Services for Phillip J. Rapp will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Kenton by Father Anthony Dinovo. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Kenton, with graveside military services to be conducted by Amvets Post 1994.
Friends may call 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home in Mount Victory, where a prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m.
He died at 12:28 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1918, in Ridgeway to William and Elizabeth (Biehle) Rapp. On April 23, 1949, he married Dorothy Wenner and she survives in Ridgeway.
Also surviving are four daughters, Bernadette (Stewart) Coats and Christine (Kevin) Stahler, both of Ridgeway, Rebecca (Mark) Jones of Bellefontaine and Katherine (Robert) Temple of Kenton; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Aaron (Nicole) Ashba, Brianna Ashba and Alan Ashba, all of Dublin, Adam (Miriam) Ashba, Audrey Ashba and Jessimi and Eliza Jones, all of Columbus, Jordan Temple of Kenton, Krane Stahler of Ada and Kyle Stahler of Ridgeway and a brother, Edwin Rapp of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Minnear and four brothers, Jacob, Walter, Charles and Willard Rapp.
He attended the Grassy Point School and graduated from Ridgeway High School in 1937. After attending welding school, he started work at Curtis Wright in Columbus.
He served three years in the U.S. Navy Fleet Air Reserve as a PBY Catalina Patrol Bomber Pilot with a commission as a Lieutenant Junior Grade during World War II.
After his discharge from the service, he stared work with International Car. He retired from Rockwell International in April 1979 after 30 years as a maintenance welder.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception parish in Kenton and a fourth-degree member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose, Pheasants Forever, VFW Post 6817 and a charter member of the Rockwell Retirees.
He loved fishing, woodworking, camping, hunting, trap shooting, travel and his dog, Bomber.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his unconditional love, strong work ethics and quiet manner.
He was truly one of a kind.
Memorials may be made to Hardin County Hospice (angels on earth) or the Immaculate Conception Convent Renovation Campaign.

Services for Sandra L. Smith will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Price Funeral Home in Kenton by Pastor Steve Hess. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
She died at 4 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
She was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Springfield to Albert “Dink” and Mildred L. Richardson. On March 28, 1969, she married Larry D. Smith and he survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son, Edward (Deborah) Smith of Kenton; four step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Quant of Mount Victory.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dennis Smith II and a brother, John Richardson.
She was a homemaker and worked as a nurse's aide at Hardin Memorial Hospital for a number of years.
She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church where she was a deaconist, a cubbie leader and an awana.
She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State Buckeyes, watching Nascar and camping and fishing.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
